Following the announcement of its 2022 study grant beneficiaries, Transalloys has launched its 2023 study grant programme. Designed to identify students with potential to pursue tertiary education despite associated unique life circumstances, the programme brings together a number of education stakeholders – each invested in finding the most promising beneficiaries.

The lives of six local learners were forever changed recently when they received the exciting news that they have received full study grants from Transalloys. Each of the students will now be able to officially start their tertiary journey knowing that they can focus on their studies and achieving their career dreams. The announcement is also a milestone for the Transalloys team; being similarly celebrated as a partnership milestone with other key Department of Basic Education players.

Transalloys recently celebrated the start of the new school year and the possibility it holds with over 300 learners across its stakeholder communities. Partnering with PEP and the local municipality, the company gifted learners from vulnerable households with smart new uniforms and school shoes – setting them up for success as they start the academic year.

"TO OVERCOME"
The new Sinqobile Primary Healthcare Clinic was recently opened by Transalloys in partnership with the Department of Health. Valued at over R11m and sponsored by Transalloys, the new facility will help improve the lives and wellbeing of over 50 000 beneficiaries per annum, delivering on the promise of its name: “to overcome” or “conquer”.
